Strike

It has been cool spring up here in the north and daffodils are still at their best. The late spring means that the tulip season is just about to begin.

The Strikes (Narcissus ‘strike’) have enjoyed the coldness and are blooming by the lake.

I do not have many vacation days this summer which has meant way less plants than normally. The simple reason is that I am not here to water them. Luckily the perennials are there to brighten the flowerbeds.

Summer’s first thunderstorm is now on us which leaves good time to write blogs.

Daffodil (Narcissus ‘strike’) is a good looking flower. The structure of the flowers is interesting and a bit unusual.

I just love the different varieties that are available each spring. When it comes to daffodils they are so many.

Strike

I have been trying to find different varieties of daffodils to my balcony.

Daffodil (Narcissus ‘strike’) was a new acquaintance to me and I ended up buying it.

Not quite sure though if it is going to make it up here in the north. Could not find the hardiness rating for it.

Well, anyway I am going to enjoy its blooms while I can and next spring I will know how well does it cope with the coldness.
