The Flaming flags (Tulipa ‘Flaming flag’) are doing well. This is a third good year in a row for them.
When I bought the bulbs I was not sure how Triumph tulips would do up here in the north but they seem to be just fine.
They are strong and sturdy. Even though the weather has not been ideal for them they still manage to look good and untouched.
The late blooming tulips are still blooming up here in the north. Most of the others are already gone.
The flaming flags (Tulipa ‘Flaming flag’) are doing well and it seems that we did not loose any during the winter.
We have been promised good weather for the next week and hopefully the summer flowers start their show.

I guess it was a mistake to plant them next to the red and yellow tulips. Somehow they do not stand out well. The brighter ones take the spotlight.
Well they look good anyway.
