My mouth is watering. The first chanterelles (Cantharellus cibarius) are emerging.
These are my favorite fungi and so delicious with butter, cream and onions.
Managed to find enough for one meal when picking the blueberries.

Happy Easter to you all!
I know that we have seen better times but we cannot always choose what life throws at us.
At last up here in the north we are able to take long walks and enjoy the spring.
During the walk I was able to find Pennyworts (Anemone hepatica) which were blooming beautifully. About 15 years ago it was protected by the law but since then it has been spreading and is nowadays quite common.
One of the great benefits of living up here in the north is that you can just go to your backyard and start picking wild blueberries.
Spending some time in the summer cottage and relaxing by harvesting berries.
Just cannot wait to bake a blueberry pie. One of my favorites. Must fill my fridge with the berries.
