Windsor

Phloxes are blooming beautifully at the moment. The Windsor (Phlox paniculata ‘Windsor’) finally started its show and is the last one of the phloxes to open the blooms.

The summer has been a good one for the phloxes even though they have required a lot of watering.

Planning to have more colors and varieties next year.

White Admiral

The heatwave that lasted for more than a month is finally over. Now waiting for some rain to save the garden.

The long warm period caused some plants to get confused. The White Admiral (Phlox paniculata ‘White Admiral’) decided to start blooming a month earlier than normally.

The White Admiral is the one which starts the fall phlox blooming season. It will be interesting to see if the other phloxes got confused as well.

Windsor

Windsor is the last of the garden phloxes to bloom but goes well with the white ones.

Tried to find new colors from the garden shop I visited but the hot July has made all the saplings dry and shaggy. I guess I buy more in the spring.

This July was the hottest one ever recorded and I can see it from my plants. Not that pretty sight . Too much is too much.

Well I am enjoying the warmth. Laying in a hammock and knowing that the autumn is here soon.
