Cornflower

Cornflower

It has been awhile since I have had any Cornflowers (Centaurea cyanus) growing.

It is a native plant for the region and I remember it from the childhood.

Nowadays you can have it in several different colors but the blue one is the original color.

    It’s been a long time since I grew them as well, but they are already on my seed order for this fall. I have better luck with them if I seed them soon, and they overwinter in the soil and produce nice big plants next spring.

    The blue colour is by far the best I think.
